In Olympia, SEAPAXers will participate in two community events in February: the Olympia Ethnic Celebration 2009 on the 7th, and a Community Conversation on “cultural immersion via the PC experience” on the 12th. The City of Olympia organizes these annual events as an opportunity “to share the cultural traditions of our various ancestries” and seeks to include the Peace Corps opportunity for the direct experience of many of these world cultures.
