21st Annual West Regional RPCV Campout

Dates: August 4-7, 2011 (Thursday through Sunday nights)

Place: Grayback Gulch Group Campground

Located 36 miles northeast of Boise, ID on Idaho Highway 21- Ponderosa Pine Scenic Highway – just 2 miles south of historic Idaho City (easy to find – honest!).

The Boise National Forest site has additional details about the Idaho City area.

Many activities are available in the region, including swimming, boating and kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, and river rafting, plus gold panning and scenic drives.

Stuff to Bring: Tent, sleeping bag/pad, food, stove/cooking & eating supplies, good lights/lanterns, chairs, totable water jug, bathing suit, sunscreen – bring your country flag and a drum if you have them.

Campground Info: We have 2 side-by-side group sites with plenty of tent spaces. The restrooms are in the middle (vault toilets in a nice brick building). There are 2 areas with lots of tables, grills and fire rings – one for group activities and one for you to stake out your own table space. There is water at the site near the tables. Parking is in the adjacent lots, but not at your tent site.

Directions and more information are available on the campout website. You can also download a Campout Flyer.

See you there!
