Update- Peace Corps 50th Events in Seattle Oct. 1 & 4, 2011

Here’s the latest information:

On Saturday October 1 there will be two events:

1) Community service day for International Visitor Leadership Program guests and SEAPAX members at an environmental cleanup project with EarthCorps at José Rizal Park on Seattle’s Beacon Hill.

2) Potluck dinner sponsored by SEAPAX for IVLP guests and the Peace Corps community, from 6-8 p.m. at the home of Joanne & Jim Dufour in West Seattle. What to bring: Last names beginning with A-F: main dish, G-L: salad, M-R: appetizers, S-Z: dessert. Please label the dish you bring with its ingredients to help guests with dietary restrictions or food allergies.

On Tuesday October 4 there will be an evening program and reception event at the UW-Seattle campus with the IVLP guests, with SEAPAX as a co-host. Final details coming soon.
