Northwest Regional Campout with added option for Silverwood Theme Park
Plans continue to evolve for the 23rd annual Northwest Regional Peace Corps Campout at Farragut State Park in the Idaho panhandle.
The dates are Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 4:00 PM – Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM (PDT). This year’s host group is the Inland Northwest Peace Corps Association.
Farragut State Park, near Athol, Idaho, on Lake Pend Oreille, offers multiple opportunities for recreation and fun for all ages. INPCA has reserved space in the Larch Campground within the Buttonhook Group Camps.
The Peace Corps community has been camping in the Northwest for nearly 25 years! It is an opportunity to reconnect at a personal level with friends and members of the Peace Corps family. The outcome has been fun, fellowship, and foundations for advocacy, the Peace Corps third goal and capacity building among the region’s RPCV groups.
Go to http://tinyurl.com/crjtqt9 to register for tent space. The charge is $31.74 per adult, which includes Saturday dinner. If you are not camping in a tent space, but plan to participate in the Saturday evening dinner, the charge is $10.00. You can also register for the dinner at this site.
RVs cannot park in the group tent space. If you’ve got an RV, we recommend making inquiries directly through Farragut State Park or Silverwood’s RV Park.
