Burke Museum Empowering Women Exhibit and Dinner at Pam’s Kitchen on September 15th

Join us at 4 pm on Sunday, September 15 when SEAPAX has organized a visit to the “Empowering Women: Artisan Cooperatives That Transform Communities” exhibit at the Burke Museum on the UW campuswww.burkemuseum.org and then move on to dinner at Pam’s Kitchenwww.pams-kitchen.com a few blocks away for Caribbean food!

All are welcome to join us and, as a special benefit, SEAPAX will pay half the cost of admission to the exhibit for the first 10 paid up SEAPAX members who RSVP! Regular admission to The Burke is $10 and everyone is welcome to use the $2 off coupon above. Cost for those first ten SEAPAX members who let us know you are coming will be just $4. Hours for The Burke Museum are 10:00 to 5:00; you may want to come early to spend time checking out the permanent collection.

Pam’s Kitchen offers authentic Trinidadian food at the corner of NE 50th Street and University Way (the Ave) and we will want to let them know how many to expect. Please RSVP the number in your group and if you are a SEAPAX member to events@seapax.org

SEAPAX is a Community Partner for this wonderful exhibit at the Burke Museum until October 27. This exhibition features incredible stories, stellar photographs, and stunning handmade traditional arts produced by ten artisan cooperatives from around the globe.
