Plans have now been finalized for our gathering on the 26th. We’ll be meeting at same time and same place as originally planned, the only difference is the date.
Where: Antioch University, 2326 6th Ave, Seattle, WA 98121, Room 100 (bottom floor, north side of building; closest to Space Needle)
When: 2:00-4:30 p.m, Sunday afternoon January 26
What: Bring food or beverage, and ideas to share
Hope you will join us to kick off the new year with a potluck lunch, networking time, and working on plans for SEAPAX programs and events for the year. Learn about what’s on tap, opportunities to get involved, and help decide on new activities. We need folks to help out with specific activities, behind-the-scenes support, as well as to fill several SEAPAX leadership positions.
Special requests: suggestions are needed for the location of the SEAPAX summer picnic, plus ideas for ethnic restaurants and pubs for social gatherings. While it’s hard to think about picnicking in January, there’s so much competition for sites that the Seattle Parks Dept. runs a lottery in February to allocate reservations. Groups can request up to 3 preferred locations, and we need to get ours in ASAP.
For the potluck, please label ingredients of your dish, in consideration of members with food allergies and restrictions. You are welcome to bring your own plate and utensils. Coffee and tea will be provided.
Antioch is located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. The area is served by many bus lines, and on-street parking is free on Sundays.
