SEAPAX May Community Service Event at Saturday School

Volunteer with SEAPAX at a Saturday School for Immigrant and Refugee Students!

Join us in preparing food, serving lunch, Volunteerand optional tutoring for immigrant and refugee students who attend the Saturday School supplemental program at Seattle World School (SWS), a public school for newcomer students ages 10 – 21,  located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

There are three ways you can get involved:

  • PREPARING FOOD

On Friday, May 30th, 5-7pm, SEAPAX will be preparing food for the Saturday lunch at the Vietnamese Friendship Association’s office (3829B S. Edmunds St) in Columbia City. Need 5+ volunteers to help cook food.

  • SERVING FOOD

Saturday, May 31st, 11:30am-12pm, we will be serving lunch during Saturday School at SWS (301 21st Ave E) on Capitol Hill. Need 5+ volunteers to help serve.

  • TUTORING

Saturday, May 31st, 8:30-11:30am and 12:00-1:00pm, we can tutor students during the Saturday program at SWS (301 21st Ave E).
